Energyflo Awarded SMART:SCOTLAND

In most commercial buildings the dominant energy user is air conditioning to cool internal heat arising from lights, equipment and occupancy. Insulation products that limit heat loss from the building envelope are therefore less applicable.

A building envelope that could retain heat when required and then switch performance to dissipate incidental heat gain when required could potentially transform the energy efficiency of Commercial Buildings and lead to much smarter carbon reductions.

Energyflo's Dynamic Insulation technology is capable of both retaining and dissipating heat and therefore has the potential to improve the energy efficiency of Commercial Building envelopes.
